How To Make A Campfire In Minecraft

The purpose of a campfire in Minecraft is multifaceted. It can be used as a not-just-a-decorative item that lights up the area around you and even helps imitate real-world fire with a trail of smoke, making it more realistic. A light stick cannot be broken down in one go. However, it can light up an environment around your base and is therefore best used there.

One of the most versatile items on a Minecraft map, campfires are capable of not only lighting up an area but can also be used to melt those snow blocks when you find yourself in a snowy biome. Not only that, but they’re useful for cooking raw food as well! If you right click on the fire, up to four raw food items will be displayed around it. After 30 seconds they become cooked and are ready for collection.
