About Overwatch:

Uninstall Overwatch -1

Overwatch is an online multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and released by Blizzard Entertainment. With the background of the near future, Overwatch puts players in two teams composed of six members each, the exception being Hanzo, which has 4 members instead.  Players select one of several pre-defined hero characters with unique movement, attributes, and abilities whose roles are divided into: Offense (do deal high amounts of damage), Defense (hold certain areas or objectives), Tank (a combination of offense and defense), Support (provide assistance through healing or other abilities).

Each player must select from one of three basic hero types: Damage heroes that inflict large amounts of damage at close range but have limited lifespans; Tanks can withstand large amounts of damage and protect teammates; Support heroes can heal, shield or otherwise assist their allies. The game also features a match-making system that ensures players of equal skill levels are pitted against one another as well as an in-game voice communication feature.

Overwatch was released on May 24th, 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows. The game became available for pre-load on May 3 and could be played at the launch on May 24. Overwatch received acclaim from many critics for its colorful cartoon style and fun gameplay, but they had mixed feelings about the game’s ranking system and player reporting. The game is currently one of the top 5 most played games in terms of the number of hours played.

Overwatch is a highly stylized team-based first-person shooter set in the near future. Each match consists of two teams of six players who compete in rounds to complete objectives, such as securing a checkpoint or pushing payloads, with one round ending when all players on one side have been eliminated from the game map. Players select one of several hero characters, each with their own unique abilities and role classes.
