How to bold and italicize text in Discord?
Discord uses a plain text language called Markdown to format its text. The good news for the average user is that using this language makes it very easy to make some basic alterations to the text. To make the text italicized, you’ll put an asterisk on either side of the chosen text (like this: *italics*). To make the text bold, you simply surround the text with a pair of asterisks (like this: **bold**). By the way, you can do both by using three asterisks on either side of the text.
How to delete a Discord server?
Deleting a Discord server is, thankfully, fairly straigthforward. You’ll just need to take the following steps:
1. Log in
2. Go to the server you want to delete and click on the server name.
3. Go to Server Settings, then click on the option to delete the server.
Note that only a server owner can actually delete a channel – mods and admins don’t have this power.
How to unban someone on Discord?
While banning someone from Discord is actually pretty easy, it’s a little more complicated to bring them back in. If you get to the point where you want to lift a ban, though, it can be done.
Note that only an admin can unban someone. If you have the power, you can go to the Server Settings menu and find the Bans sub-menu. From here, you’ll click on the name of the user who has been banned and then choose Revoke Ban from the pop-up menu.

How to add friends on Discord?
Adding friends on Discord is very straightforward. Log in to your Discord account on your computer or your mobile device, and then click the ‘add’ button (the silhouette with a plus sign next to it). From here, you’ll be able to add your friend’s user name in the Friend Request field. Note that you can’t just add a friend – that person has to approve your request. Once that request has been approved, though, you can freely contact one another.

How to do spoilers on Discord?
Spoiling text on Discord is fairly straightforward, thanks to Discord’s use of Markdown. You’ll basically being doing the same thing you do when you put something in italics or bold, but you’ll use double vertical bars (||) on either side of the spoilered text instead. To spoil something, it should look something like this: ||text||. If you’ve done it right, it will be covered by a black bar when it goes into the chat. You can unspoil other people’s spoilered text for yourself by clicking or tapping on the spoiler mask in the chat.
